"We're in your car," Bucky says flatly even though he thinks that much is self-evident. "Nothing seems out of place here but if I pop the hood and see a time machine I'll let you know." He sounds too deadpan to be snarky about it, but at some point they may progress to a less rocky part of their relationship, where Bucky is much more comfortable being a smart-ass talking shit.

There are some mornings before the worry kicks in though, where this just. Feels nice. Not that Arthur wants to hear it.
