Margaret just nods, numbly, even though she doesn't exactly know what Helly is asking. How else are you supposed to respond to that? She takes a moment to catch her breath, then steels herself and holds out a hand to help Helly up.

"I--I don't know exactly what happened," she says. "I saw--I saw something, I--"

She looks around, trying to catch her breath and bring herself back to reality. Focusing on someone else's problems instead of her own helps a little, giving her something actionable to do.

"Let's--maybe we shouldn't be talking about this in the open."
