She pauses for a moment, her eyebrows furrowed in thought. She fidgets slightly in her seat.
"I'm not sure," she says, slowly, quietly. She doesn't want anyone else overhearing what she has to say next. "That's what I can't figure out. My current thought is maybe this is some elaborate Communist experiment, but--"
Margaret cuts herself off as a group of people passes by their table, laughing and chattering. She pulls back, exhaling and trying to maintain a neutral expression.
